The Grape: 100% Donauriesling.  This new PIWI grape varietal was cultivated in the research center for viticulture in Klosterneuburg by crossing Riesling with . The grape has a high resistance to fungal infections and powdery mildew, and therefore it can be produced more environmentally friendly, sustainably and economically.

The Wine: Pronounced ripe drupaceous fruit, apricots, orange zests, slight hints of melissa and citrus aromas, continuous fruit on the palate, mouth filling, complex structure with refreshing acidity, appealing length with a pleasant finish.
