The Pairing: Game, red meat and porcini mushroom- grilled or stewed

The Winery: Founded in 1971, the Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini is located in the heart of an area particularly well-suited for viticulture. It is framed by the hills of Cortona, the Val di Chiana, Montepulciano, and the Val d’Orcia.

Established with the aim of promoting the grapes of a few local producers, Viticoltori Senesi Aretini now has more than 200 contributing members, whose vineyards collectively cover an area of approximately 350 hectares, spread across the provinces of Siena and Arezzo.

Thanks to continuous investments in the winery and oenological collaboration with Dr. Maurizio Castelli and Dr. Mery Ferrara, Viticoltori Senesi Aretini has significantly improved the quality of its wines in recent years.

The winery is moving towards an increasingly eco-friendly winemaking process, as evidenced by the use of cutting-edge machinery that ensures excellent energy efficiency.
