The Ingredients: Sorghum!  100% Gluten Free!  Hurray!  This gluten-free beer is made with Cascade, Citra, Idaho 7, and Mosaic Hops for a lovely 44 IBUs, and clocking in at 5.7% ABV.

The Beer: The hopped-up cousin to Lakefront’s best selling gluten-free beer.  New Grist IPA packs all the citrus, pine, and dank flavors IPA drinkers love into a robust and slightly caramelly brew that is balanced without getting overly bitter.

The Brewery: Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was started in 1987 by the brothers Jim and Russ Klisch.  They were the first US brewery to make a beer from entirely state-grown, indigenous ingredients (Wisconsinite), they brew the oldest certified organic beer (Organic E.S.B.), and the first government-certified gluten-free beer (New Grist).
