The Winemaker: Bela is a wine-growing project started in 2011 by master winemaker Sven Bruchfeld and Rafael Craveiro. Sven was using his Cabernet Sauvignon in the past to blend in his Polkura Syrah and Malbec. After seeing how good the grapes were, Rafael decided to buy some barrels and have Sven vinify and age the wine for him. While accompanying the harvest and winemaking, Rafael has learned the steps to make exceptional wine the handcrafted way. The result is a harmoniously layered wine that is exquisite now, but will age gracefully for 10 years or more.
